Our health care staff and leadership have been carefully monitoring COVID-19 here in New Hampshire and across the nation. As of today, Monday, March 9, 2020, there have been four presumptive or confirmed positive cases of COVID-19 in New Hampshire — three in Grafton County and one in Rockingham County.
What are we doing?
Leadership teams at each community continue to participate in live webinars and conference calls with the CDC and the New Hampshire Department of Public Health to ensure we are up to date on recommendations regarding prevention, management, and emergency preparation efforts. We continue to follow all recommended measures outlined by public health officials and detailed in a memo distributed to our residents on March 3, 2020.
To mitigate risk, we are implementing the following steps out of an abundance of caution to keep our community safe.
- We are moving all our marketing events to offsite locations to protect our residents.
- We have asked all employees and residents to self-report any airline travel in the past 14 days and future travel, so that we may track, monitor and advise of the appropriate steps to monitor your health and practice social distancing (keeping a distance of 6 feet or greater from others).
- We will be asking visitors to self-report any airline travel to level 1-3 countries* and high-alert states within the US.
- We have and continue to educate staff and employees on best preventative practices, especially hand washing.
We thank you for your understanding and support as we work together to prevent the impact of this or any other illness in our community. We will update this site periodically.
