VP of Marketing, Cathleen Toomey, on Exeter TV

Exeter TV sits down with Cathleen Toomey on a recent episode of “People of Exeter.” They ask her why she does what she does here in town.

Among other responsibilities, Cathleen Toomey is the host of Seniority Authority, a podcast sponsored by The RiverWoods Group, that answers questions about aging. The podcast was born out of the question: How do we get smarter about growing older?

Seniority Authority will answer your questions on all aspects of aging well, from fitness to finance, brain health to downsizing, isolation to insurance, and more.

In a recent podcast episode called “Reimagining the Second Half of Life,” Toomey interviews Arthur Brooks, author of “From Strength to Strength” and Professor of the Practice of Public Leadership at the Harvard Kennedy School and Professor of Management Practice at the Harvard Business School. He shares the story about his own seven-year journey to discover how to transform his future from one of disappointment over waning abilities into an opportunity for progress.

Scientists such as Dr. Robert Waldinger and Andrew Steele, Ph.D., have been on the podcast as well, sharing their research into how to reduce the effects of aging, whether through social connections or specific therapies.

As Director of Marketing for The RiverWoods Group, Toomey promotes the RiverWoods communities as great places for active retirement. She is pleased to support the work of RiverWoods as the largest family of Continuing Care Retirement Communities in Northern New England. RiverWoods is proud to have Cathleen Toomey featured as one of the “People of Exeter.”
