Dining at RiverWoods — Our Philosophy

We are committed to providing our residents with outstanding cuisine and exceptional service, in a pleasant and gracious atmosphere. Our residents enjoy one chef-prepared meal per day (lunch or dinner) in any of the dining venues on campus. Choose from classic, white-tablecloth style and service in one of our three dining rooms, or, for a more casual atmosphere, dine in one of our bistros or cafés. Enjoy a different venue every day if you wish, without making a reservation.

Eating with the Seasons and Eating Local

We strive for a farm-to-table approach and have established partnerships with local farmers and producers from which we source fresh, all-natural and seasonally-available meat, fish, and produce to use in the preparation of delicious, restaurant-quality meals. We season our cuisine with herbs from our kitchen gardens, home bake most of our breads and desserts, and create all our dressings, sauces, and soups from scratch using fresh, natural ingredients.

Each day, our restaurant-trained chefs prepare a varied menu of entrées. Our seasonally-diverse menus are always enhanced with the availability of fresh, local ingredients, and our chefs bring creativity to the table each day, along with monthly themed event meals to serve up some fun along the way.

With a resident dietician on campus who supervises the creation of all our menus, you can be assured that your meals offer the quality and the nourishment you’re looking for.

Our waitstaff and dining services team have years of experience and are some of the friendliest faces on our campus! Our waitstaff exceeds our residents’ expectations for quality service.
