RiverWoods Exeter’s Active Community Hosts Annual Golf Outing
The active community of residents, staff and trustees recently came together for the annual Exeter Golf Outing at the Exeter Country Club, less than a 10-minute drive from the RiverWoods Exeter campus.
Hosted by Campus Golf group’s representatives Stu Lewis, Jackie Linder and Stu Benedict, 25 participants in total were split into five teams of five. The teams played in Scramble format, taking pressure off individual scores and putting the focus on team work. Each team started at a different hole; after each took their swing, the team then played from the furthest ball.
An active community comes together for a day of fun.
Although there were Men’s and Women’s prizes for “Longest Drive” and “Closest to the Pin,” everyone agreed it was “just a day for having fun.” This motto embodies the friendly nature of the community. Everyone enjoyed the beautiful weather and even more so, time to connect with other residents, staff and trustees.
