The Not-For-Profit Advantage

A Strong Family of Not-For-Profit Communities

The RiverWoods Group has earned an excellent reputation as a smart and strong family of not-for-profit communities. The organization continues to grow thoughtfully and maintain strong occupancy while consistently outperforming industry benchmarks. In 2016 RiverWoods Manchester became an affiliate.

Our mission is to bring this way of life to as many people as possible.

Fittingly, our newest affiliate is in Durham, home of RiverWoods Exeter co-founder Maryanna Hatch, on 34 acres off Route 108 on Stone Quarry Drive. Opened in late 2019, this charitable not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) builds upon the tradition of the RiverWoods Group’s reputation for providing award-winning senior living.

RiverWoods Exeter Maintains “A-“ Fitch Rating

In spite of one of the most challenging years in the history of our industry, RiverWoods Exeter once again maintains our “A-“ Fitch rating.

Only 2% of CCRCs nationwide have been able to achieve the same financial rating.
